SOCCER NEWS NET MLS 2007 SEASON PREVIEW NOW AVAILABLE ONLINE
ATLANTIC, Va.— Soccer News Net’s team of respected soccer journalists have joined forces to produce a 2007 Major League Soccer Preview e-Zine, which can be downloaded from any of the Soccer News Net regional soccer web sites: BigAppleSoccer.com, ChicagolandSoccerNews.com, DallasSoccerNews.com, LASoccerNews.com, NewEnglandSoccerNews.com and PhillySoccerNews.com.
The magazine features two-page previews of every Major League Soccer team, including a 2006 season recap, 2007 schedule, key players and position-by-position analysis for the coming season, as well as photographs of players to watch during the coming season. A master league schedule and calendar of key soccer dates for 2007 round out the package.
Contributors to the 17-page online magazine include New York Daily News soccer correspondent and BigAppleSoccer.com editor Michael Lewis, Boston Globe soccer writer and NewEnglandSoccerNews.com columnist Frank Dell’Apa, LASoccerNews.com editor Luis Bueno, ChicagolandSoccerNews.com editor Kathryn L. Knapp, DallasSoccerNews.com editor Phil Stephens, BigAppleSoccer.com assistant editor Dylan Butler and NewEnglandSoccerNews.com contributor Nick Williams. Stephens, Linda Cuttone and Meg Stephens contributed photographs to the project.
All of the sites on the Soccer News Net network are programmed by Sports Vue Interactive. In 2004, Sports Vue launched BigAppleSoccer.com, its first regional soccer web site, targeting the New York market. Edited by well-known journalist Michael Lewis, the site has become a fan favorite in New York, and won the 2005 Press Club of Long Island award for best news website. That was followed by ChicagoLandSoccerNews.com, serving Windy City soccer fans, and NewEngland SoccerNews.com, serving the Boston market. In 2006, the company launched PhillySoccerNews.com, LASoccerNews.com and DallasSoccerNews.com.
