A WINNING TEAM – NIKE, RONALDINHO, SPORTS VUE
Nike is promoting the launch of its new Ronaldinho signature line of soccer shoes and apparel with a monthlong advertising campaign on Sports Vue Interactive’s Soccer News Network web sites.
The campaign encompasses space advertising and site rebranding on all six of Sports Vue’s regional soccer news web sites: BigAppleSoccer.com, ChicagolandSoccerNews.com, DallasSoccerNews.com, LASoccerNews.com, NewEnglandSoccerNews.com and PhillySoccerNews.com.
Banner and box advertising will run for the entire month of January. In addition, on January 15, the home pages of all six sites will be rebranded as part of the promotional effort. The campaign theme, “Create and Destroy”, and graphics will be incorporated into each web site’s design, with click-throughs to the Nike Soccer web page containing Nike and Ronaldinho interactive content.
The Ronaldinho collection, inspired by the superstar midfielder/forward for Brazil and Spanish soccer power Barcelona, is the first signature collection designed with a soccer athlete by Nike.
This is the fifth campaign Nike has run on the Sports Vue sites. The company was the presenting sponsor of Sports Vue’s World Cup sections this past summer.
